VIA GMB Tech Forum Summer
Following on from the success of the VIA GMB Tech Forum Spring event held in mid-March, VIA will again host leading PC manufacturing and infrastructure partners focused on delivering affordable, power efficient mini-notebooks to global markets, at the VIA GMB Tech Forum Summer.
With the popular mini-note market continuing to grow, many vendors are predicting that scores of new opportunities for component manufacturers will stem from this key segment. The upcoming VIA GMB Tech Forum Summer brings together industry experts to discuss the importance of 3C integration, to explore mini-note market trends and to analyze the implications brought about by the proliferation of these devices.
Particular attention will be paid to the increasing role of 3G technology in the mini-note segment. At the moment, only a handful of mini-notes come with a 3G option, but analysts forecast that by 2013, 72% of mini-notes will have 3G built in. What does this mean for mini-note vendors?
