At the Lunch@Pieros press event held during CES in Las Vegas, VIA demonstrated many new Ultra Mobile devices, and encouraged attendees to use them to enter a simple competition, giving them a feel of the Ultra Mobile Lifestyle, with one lucky winner due to take home a cool Samsung Q1b featuring the VIA C7®-M ULV processor.

Also featured were exciting customer design wins that further enhance the ultra mobile lifestyle, providing an infrastructure for obtaining digital media on the go.

A clear market leader in the field of Green computing technologies, with a range of ultra power efficient x86 processors including the VIA C7®-D, the world's first carbon free processor, VIA showcased systems with leading edge energy efficiency technologies specifically designed to reduce the owner's carbon footprint and lower their electricity bills, as well as reduce the burden on the world's power generation infrastructure.

VIA Mainboards Showcase

All the ITX suffix boards were on show at this event, with attendees treated to the first demo in the US of the next generation "-ITX" form factor mainboard, the Pico-ITX, plus the upcoming all-new VIA EPIA Mini-ITX and Nano-ITX mainboards featuring the latest VIA C-Series integrated digital media IGP chipset, the VIA CX700M.
