VIA pc1000One of the building blocks of VIA pc-1 System Reference Designs, the VIA pc2500 Mainboard is based on the VIA pc2500 Platform and provides full desktop performance and a rich digital media experience at an accessible price point for emerging market system integrators. Based on the highly power-efficient VIA C7®-D processor and the VIA CN700 digital media chipset supporting the 400MHz VIA V4 bus, and boasting leading memory, multimedia, connectivity and storage technologies including DDR2, hardware MPEG-2 decoding acceleration and SATA, the VIA pc2500 mainboard is fully compatible with Microsoft® Windows® XP and Linux operating systems.
