Demanding users
will experience an awesome sound experience,
when using the DMX 6fire24/96 Sound System:
6-channel audio reproduction in excellent
24Bit quality, advanced connection options
on the computer's front side and full compatibility
to audio standards of games, DVD entertainment
and music. Based on the successful EWX®/EWS88®
technology, DMX 6fire24/96 uses only the
best in sound technology: 24Bit/96kHz transducer
components for all inputs and outputs guarantee
a straight frequency response and a signal-to-noise
ratio beyond-100db! |

The AudioSystem
EWS88 MT sums up the demands placed on a
professional hard-disk recording card: an
adequate number of inputs and outputs that
can be expanded as required, clean audio
quality and high performance with current
hardware and software technology come together
to shatter all previous price/performance
ratios.
Eight high-quality analog input and output
converters process audio signals (continuously
from the hardware to the software) with
up to 24 bit and 96 kHz. The converters
- and a full-scale MIDI interface - are
housed in a 5 1/4" module that can
be mounted in a PC drive bay or installed
externally. The PCI card itself also features
connections for S/PDIF devices (coaxial,
e.g. for DAT or MiniDisk), as well as an
independent SystemSound (Monitor) output
for the reproduction of system sounds or
software synthesizers without interfering
with your favorite hard-disk recording application. |

While based
on the technology used in the AudioSystem
EWS88 MT, the "D" model provides
10 digital audio channels. The optical TOS-Link
interface (light pipe) can handle either
8 channels in ADATTM format, or a stereo
S/PDIF signal (up to 24-bit and 96kHz).
In addition to standard 16- and 20-bit,
state of the art 24-bit resolutions can
also be transferred. Also, 2 independent
MIDI ports and an S/PDIF interface with
coaxial connections (up to 24-bit and 96
kHz) is available to which the ADATTM signal
can be routed or mixed - the EWS88 D can
thus also serve as a converter and/or down-mixer.

With the AudioSystem
EWX 24/96 TerraTec breaks new ground in
the classical soundcard market with a product
utilising progressive 24Bit / 96kHz technology.
Based on the award winning EWS88 MT/D technology
you get the pleasure of uncompromised support
for any audio software with ASIO 2.0, GSIF
(GigaSampler) and DirectSound drivers. Thanks
to the hardware design and the new 24Bit/96kHz
converter technology, a signal to noise
ratio of more than 100 dB/A is reached -
satisfying the highest demands.
In addition to the analog stereo In and
Outputs (cinch!) there is an optical digital
In and Output (TOS link) for all standard
formats up to 24Bit und 96kHz at your disposal.
These operate without any sample rate conversion
and thereby deliver a 1:1 (bit-true) perfect
recording. And DTS or AC3 streams can also
be transfered in the so-called non-audio
mode over the digital Out from a software
DVD- player to an external Dolby-Digital-receiver.
The digital Input on the EWX 24/96 also
allows itself to be configured so that a
digital audio Out (TTL) from a CD drive
can be connected. |

As a result
of intensive cooperation with SPL, the renowned
specialist for professional studio equipment,
TerraTec's new Pro-Audio-System guarantees
audio quality which could not be found in
this price bracket before.
The extensive connections turn the MIC
series into the flexible system control
center for any studio: Besides eight analog
inputs and outputs, the 1HE 19" housing
also contains an ADAT and S/PDIF interface,
connectors for MIDI and WordClock signals,
as well as an adjustable output for headphones
at the front.
The heart of the system is a preamp section
consisting of extremely low-noise operational
amplifiers, which is available in octal
design for the MIC8 and in double design
for the MIC2. Alternatively, all eight inputs
of both units can be supplied with line
signals. In addition, two audio channels
with combined XLR/jack input are available
at the front. This allows flexible configuration
of the most diverse recording sessions in
the studio without having to rewire an existing
setup!
Balanced inputs and outputs guarantee a
low-noise signal management. The intensity
of all input channels can be adjusted at
the rack module, and can be muted or directly
forwarded to an output. This allows the
AudioSystem to be used as stand-alone preamplifier
and audio mixer for numerous applications
even without PC-quickly and conveniently! |

Recordings are
often put together one track at a time (a
guitar solo here, a vocal there) as opposed
to being all tracked simultaneously. As
a result, many musicians decide to choose
an audio card with fewer Ins and more Outs
rather than spending money on a lot of inputs
they may never use. The Delta 410's 4-in/10-out
configuration is created with this type
of recording approach in mind.
The multi-output card is often combined
with an analog mixer, allowing a computer-based
recording system to behave more like a traditional
analog one. Recording inputs are quickly
routed to the same inputs of the soundcard
via a patchbay or mixer. Outputs are sent
to mixer channels or analog effects devices,
allowing for an "analog studio"
style configuration where signals are bussed
to and from a mixer in the analog domain. |

Sound quality,
performance, and driver support are a few
of the reasons that the Delta 66 has established
worldwide recognition as a top choice in
PCI-based digital audio solutions. With
its superb engineering, the fidelity of
the Delta 66 surpasses cards that cost many
times more, giving your recordings the advantage
of truly superior audio quality. The Delta
66 offers the professional performance required
by today's most popular software programs,
and provides you with features like 96 kHz
recording, zero latency monitoring, digital
mixing, and controllable SCMS.
The Delta family of soundcards also offers
more drivers and greater reliability than
any other, which means that your Delta card
will work (and work well) with whatever
software you choose to use. Delta audio
cards deliver more of what you need to make
music on your terms. |
