VIA KT333 Chipset |
 |
The VIA Apollo KT333 is an efficient, cost-effective,
flexible chipset solution for systems based on the AMD
Athlon™ XP and Duron™ Socket A processors, across a
full spectrum of applications. With a 64-bit DDR333
SDRAM memory controller and a 333/266/200 MHZ front
side bus, the KT400 offers efficient system performance.
An AGP 4X controller enables connection to external
graphics cards, and an 8X V-link chip interconnect offers
266MB/s of bandwidth between North and South Bridge.
The VIA KT333 can be paired with a choice of VT8233/VT8233A/VT8233C
South Bridges, which are connected through the chipset's
V-Link Hub Architecture. Other key features include
support for ATA-100 (ATA-133 in the VT8233A), integrated
AC-97 six- channel advanced audio, six USB ports, LPC
bus, integrated 10/100Mbps Ethernet and Home PNA, and
MC-97 modem.
