In addition, the VIA Apollo P4X333 supports the very latest technologies
including AGP 8X deriving maximum performance from the most powerful
graphics cards, and new Double-Speed V-link chip interconnect with
533MB/s of bandwidth between North and South Bridge. The new VT8235
South Bridge also features first to market innovations including USB
2.0 support for peripheral connectivity 40 times faster than USB 1.1,
and ATA-133 support, the fastest IDE interface available, making total
system performance a reality.

provides pin compatibility across the full range of VIA DDR products.

a single, unified platform design. The VIA Apollo P4X333 (model number
VT8754) is completely pin-compatible with the VIA Apollo P4X266A (VT8753A)
to ensure rapid time to market and lower product development costs,

The VIA Apollo P4X333 features the world's fastest single channel
memory controller, designed for exceptionally high performance. With
a 400MHz/533MHz processor bus and supporting DDR200/266/333 memory,
the VIA Apollo P4X333 provides lightning fast access to system memory
and can reach a peak bandwidth of 2.7GB/sec, 25% greater than the
P4X266A, enabling the full performance potential of the fastest Intel®
Pentium® 4 processors to be harnessed.
The VT8235 South Bridge with double speed V-link, USB 2.0 and ATA-133
provides the most advanced connectivity features to ensure the ultra
fast processor and memory are not restricted by peripheral bottlenecks.
USB 2.0 and ATA-133 high-speed transfer technologies are essential
for today's bandwidth-hungry peripherals, and greatly enhance the
performance of demanding applications including interactive gaming
and digital photography.
