The VIA Apollo P4X533 is a flexible, high-performance chipset, offering the ideal platform for building mainstream systems featuring Intel® Pentium® 4 processors as well as Intel® Celeron™ processors. Featuring an advanced DDR memory controller, supporting high-speed DDR333/266/200 SDRAM, the VIA P4X533 also supports AGP8X to enable connections to all the latest high performance graphic cards. With a 533/400MHz front side bus, the P4X533 allows a broad range of Intel Pentium 4 and Celeron processors to perform to their full potential.

Utilizing the innovative VIA Modular Architecture Platform (V-MAP), the P4X533 can be paired with a variety of VIA South Bridges including the VIA VT8237R Plus and the VIA VT8235. The highly acclaimed VIA VT8237R Plus features integrated Serial ATA and V-RAID, 10/100 Ethernet, USB2.0, and support for VIA Vinyl Audio. Additionally, the VIA P4X533 can also be combined with an unparalleled range of VIA companion controller chips, enabling features including Gigabit Ethernet and Firewire.
