A customer can choose to use an external USB WLAN adapter. However, our BIOS/software control function only supports our own internal WLAN module. That means users can’t shut down the WLAN function with the software if they use an external WLAN adapter.

The VIA ARTiGO A2000 follows the standard x86 PC architecture and runs most popular PC OSes such as Microsoft Windows XP/Vista, Linux, etc. Therefore, almost any software can be used with the A2000.
