VIA Announces September and Third Quarter Sales Results
Monthly sales up over 14%, quarterly revenues rise
by over 36%
Taipei, Taiwan, 1st October 2003 - VIA Technologies,
Inc, a leading innovator and developer of silicon chip
technologies and PC platform solutions, today announced
net sales for September 2003 of NT$2.05 billion (US$60.8
million approximately).
On a sequential basis, this monthly sales revenue represents
a 14.4% increase over August 's figure of NT$1.79 billion
(US$53.1 million approximately).
VIA's third quarter revenue totaled NT$5.50 billion
(US$163.02 million approximately), representing a 36.2%
increase over the second quarter revenue of NT$4.04
billion (US$119.7 million approximately).
