VIA Announces December and Q4’03 Sales Results
Taipei, Taiwan, 2nd January 2004 - VIA Technologies, Inc, a leading
innovator and developer of silicon chip technologies and PC platform
solutions, today announced net sales for December 2003 of NT$1.54
billion (US$45.36 million approximately).
On a sequential basis, this monthly sales revenue represents a
7% decrease over November’s figure of NT$1.66 billion (US$48.78 million
approximately).
VIA’s fourth quarter revenues totaled NT$5.17 billion (US$152.2
million approximately), representing a 5.44% decrease over third
quarter revenues of NT$5.47 billion (US$161 million approximately).
Whole year 2003 sales revenue totaled NT$20.39 billion (US$600 million
approximately), representing a 19.1% decrease over the 2002 revenue
of NT$25.20 billion (US$741.83 million approximately).
