VIA Announces January Sales Results

Taipei, Taiwan, 1st February 2005 - VIA Technologies, Inc., a leading innovator and developer of silicon chip technologies and PC platform solutions, today announced net sales for January 2005 of NT$1.55 billion (US$48.67 million approximately).

On a sequential basis, this monthly sales revenue represents a 1.73% decrease over December’s figure of NT$1.57 billion (US$49.53 million approximately), but a more than 24% increase over the same month last year.
