VIA Announces 2Q'05/1H'05 Results
Taipei, Taiwan, 31 August 2005 - VIA Technologies, Inc., a leading innovator and developer of silicon chip technologies and PC platform solutions, today announced financial results for second quarter 2005.
Net sales for 2Q'05 were NT$3,659 million. Net loss was NT$536 million; based on weighted average shares outstanding of 1,279.067 million shares, earnings per share were reported as negative NT$0.42.
For the first half of the year, net sales totaled NT$7,558 million. Net loss was NT$473 million; based on weighted average shares outstanding of 1,279.067 million shares, earnings per share for the first half of the year were reported at negative NT$0.37.
