VIA Announces August Sales Results

Taipei, Taiwan, 1^st September 2008 - VIA Technologies, Inc., a leading innovator of power efficient x86 processor platforms, today announced net sales for August 2008 of NT$729 million (US$23.13 million approximately).

This sales revenue represents a 19.38% month-on-month increase over revenues of NT$611 million (US$19.38 million) in July 2008.
